I've translated the popular Content Management System, Joomla! into Gaeilge (Irish) and made the language pack available through this website. This language pack is for Joomla! versions 1.0.x. While the translation is complete, there may be errors of grammar and spelling. Please report and errors you encounter.The Irish Translation Pack for Joomla! is released under the GNU General Public License. Although you're not required to do so, if you are using this translation on your site, please contact me to let me know, and add a link to this site. Wink

The Joomla! language packs translate the core system. The language packs do not translate the user or administrator added content. If you want to have your complete site to be available in multiple languages, this can be achieved with the JoomFish extension which allows you to host and present content in multiple languages.

UPDATE: I'm also working on Irish Language pack for newer Joomla 1.5 version family. The structure and content of the language packs in this rebuild is quite different so it will take some time to complete. Once I have an initial complete version I will also provide it here.
